November 14th World Diabetes Day
Today is World Diabetes Day, you know
- Worldwide, 415 million adults had diabetes in 2015, and it is expected to increase to 642 million by 2040

- People with type 2 diabetes often suffer from it for a long time without knowing it, and they often have serious complications when they are diagnosed

- 12% of the world's healthcare budget is spent on adults with diabetes
- The incidence of diabetes in low- and middle-income countries is growing rapidly. Taking Africa as an example, the number of people suffering from diabetes is expected to more than double in 2040
